Little mixed media style notebook from GD Kavitha!

Hello Friends,

I am Kavitha from Southern part of India.I always loved being creative and i am fortunate enough to be a full time artist now..Art keeps my ever active brain engaged :).I started my art journey with paintings and then moved on to crafts,and now i am into mixed media where i can use both art and craft and i am absolutely loving it,it helps me to get the best of both worlds.My most favorite style is shabby chic with lots of layers,flowers and details but i absolutely love trying each and every style possible.I love creating layouts,cards,tags,canvas,albums and 3d projects

 I love altering note books and enjoyed making this little mixed media style notebook based 

on this months theme.Its a small A5 size notebook made with  Zutter binding tool.

I used my favorite colors blue and pink,added different elements like wood,clay 

and fabric embellishments.For coloring i used Lindy's magicals and art alchemy paints.

To add little magical touch i sprinkled glitters and art ingredients all over 

the embellishments  

I love adding different textures to my project,here i applied graphite texture paste with 

stencils for the base,did some random stamping all over and added art stones in different sizes.

 

Its always magical to see how different elements comes together and created beautiful art in 

the end,i love mixed media for this reason:). I hope you enjoyed my inspiration.
